The HY3800L-2 is a powerful yet easily portable 3.2kW / 4.0kVa* open frame generator from Hyundai. Designed for both home and commercial use the HY3800L-2 is powered by a 210cc / 7.0hp economical single cylinder Hyundai 4-Stroke engine. Built for the most demanding of jobs the HY3800L-2 is an extremely reliable generator, the single cylinder 4-stroke OHV air cooled engine generates a max power of 3.2kW. Weighing only 52kg, the HY3800L-2 has a rugged open frame. The Hyundai AVR alternator keeps the voltage output smooth, within +/- 3% of 230V. This means it can be used to power sensitive equipment such as computers, laptops and charge mobile phones. However, the AVR alternator is also rugged enough to handle the harsh demands of power tools and building site equipment. The HY3800L-2 is an all round workhorse. Using the latest low noise engine technology, the HY3800L-2 produces only 65 dBA @ 7m. Fitted with an easy recoil start system (sometimes referred to as a pull start). When storing your generator for a long period of time, we recommend you either run the engine dry of fuel (run until the engine cuts out due to no fuel), or use a fuel additive to prevent the petrol from going off. Modern unleaded petrol, when left for long periods can congeal and clog the carburetor, it also loses its combustible properties and can cause problems starting in the future. Fitted with 1x 230v 16A & 1x 115v 16A sockets. Please be aware that you MUST check the condition of your product(s) IMMEDIATELY upon delivery. If an item is delivered damaged you must notify us within 24 hours. We cannot consider claims for transit damage beyond 48 hours following delivery.

Delivery Information

We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.

• You can return any items bought online within 28 days of receipt.
• Please note, PML products are non returnable. 
• All returns costs are the responsibility of the customers, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
• Unless the item(s) are faulty or incorrect, a full refund does not include the initial postage charge.
• You will be refunded once the items have arrived at BATA Ltd.
• All items must be returned in the original packaging (where possible).
• Please ensure all items are carefully packed to prevent any damages in transit.
• We strongly recommend using a tracked service and obtaining proof of postage when returning any items. We are unable to hold responsibility for any lost or damaged parcels.
