The HY5508 is a powerful yet compact 550w direct-drive oil-free low noise air compressor from Hyundai. Designed for DIY and trade applications the HY5508 silenced oil-free air compressor is ideal for spray-painting, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres & inflatables or operating air tools. Weighing only 15kg the HY5508 air compressor is lighter than your conventional piston type air compressor and is completely oil-free, so there is no risk of oil contamination in the air supply. The HY5508 features 4 robust rubber mounted feet and a carry handle for easy manoeuvrability. Powered by a 550w motor directly connected to the oil-less air compressor pump and rubber mounted for low vibration, makes it ideal for the home workshop or garage use and is powered by standard mains 230v supply. This maintenance-free compressor uses an oil-free diaphragm pump to produce a clean air supply and considerably reduce noise compared to conventional piston compressors. With an 8-litre tank capacity, this compressor provides an air displacement of 4CFM/ 120 litres per minute and a maximum pressure of 7 bar/ 100psi. Airflow 55 L/min / 2 CFM. The pressure control system automatically stops and starts the motor to maintain the pressure in the air tank. Compressor CarePressure safety valves on Hyundai air compressors have been updated in compliance with the latest CE certification standards. The pressure release pull ring has been removed from the safety valve to prevent it being misused to drain the air from the compressor tank, causing excessive wear to the valve. Air and moisture should always be released using the drain valve located on the bottom of the tank. Fitted with Euro quick release connectors this compressor is fitted with a standard 13A UK Plug. We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.

• All items must be returned in the original packaging (where possible).
