The tempting taste and aroma of Thunderbrook Oat Bran make it an excellent carrier for supplements. Oat Bran is a suitable addition to bulk out feeds and is particularly useful for older horses with poor dentition. Thunderbrook's Oat Bran is human food grade and freshly milled. Oat bran contains high levels of beta glucans. Beta glucan is a soluble dietary fibre present typically in oats and it nutritionally supports the digestive system. The beta glucan content in whole grain oats (such as our Certified Organic Oats) varies from 2% to 8% dry weight. The beta glucan content in our Oat Bran is usually between 6% to 10% of dry weight.

Feeding Guideline
- Ponies up to 250kg up to 250g per day
- Horses 250kg to 500kg up to 500g per day
- Horses 500kg to 750kg up to 750g per day
- Mix well into feed.
- Always dampen before feeding.
- If feeding larger amounts of bran on a regular basis, add 25g of limestone flour (calcium carbonate) per Kilo of oat bran, which will balance the calcium and phosphorus to the optimum 2:1 ratio for horses.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight

This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons.
