Livestock Ear Tags
If you own a herd, flock or even a single animal of agricultural livestock - such as cattle, sheep, goats, deer, or pigs - there are rules that you must follow to help prevent the spread of diseases, particularly those caused by highly contagious viruses. The rules cover that all farm animals must have a DEFRA approved ear tag for identification, tracing and movement of livestock.
BATA supply a range of new and replacement livestock tags, animal ID tags and tagging accessories. Our livestock tags include cattle tags, sheep tags, EID tags, non-EID tags, goat tags and pig tags. Ear Tags are from leading suppliers Ritchey, Cox and Ketchum.
Order all you livestock tag requirements through our Customer Service team on 01653 605200.
|All farm animals need to be registered with DEFRA. When you call BATA to order your ear tags we require your Holding Number (CPH) and a Herd/Flock Number (supplied by DEFRA) to process your order. Click here to find out more|
Due to changes in goverment legislation all sheep must be double tagged, one of which must be an EID tag from the 1st January 2015.
