NoBACZ Navel is the first navel product to offer a physical protective coating on the navel combined with trusted cleansing and rapid desiccation. It has been robustly trialled in the largest ever navel protection study¹ where it was shown to be superior to iodine with 18 more lambs surviving per 1000 born in the NoBACZ treated group versus the iodine treated group. Plus it has a bitter ingredient to deter licking off.

NoBACZ Navel was specifically developed to improve hygiene and protection during common on farm procedures like navel dipping, ear tag placement, and castration and tail ringing in lambs and calves. Unlike traditional dip products that simply cleanse the site NoBACZ Navel cleanses and coats the treated areas with a unique patented bioresin combined with metal salts. This layer keeps bacteria out during the drying period for ultimate navel protection.

FAQs

What are the ingredients?

NoBACZ Navel contains a high % of ethanol to cleanse the navel on contact, then a unique blend of natural polymer and metal salts that form a protective seal at the site to keep environmental pathogens out.

What if the ewe or cow licks the site of application?

It consists of feed grade materials;  a combination of a natural polymer combined with low levels of metal salts in an ethanol base. As for all navel products it’s not recommended for ingestion when wet due to the ethanol content but there are no specific requirements to prevent contact between ewe and lamb, or cow and calf, post application.

Are there any sites it can't be used on?

NoBACZ Navel is not recommended for use near the eyes as it is an irritant. Take care not to get any product in the eyes when applying near the face.

We also offer UK Standard delivery at £6.95 and UK Express delivery at £8.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.

• Please note, PML products are non returnable. 
• All returns costs are the responsibility of the customers, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
• Unless the item(s) are faulty or incorrect, a full refund does not include the initial postage charge.
• You will be refunded once the items have arrived at BATA Ltd.
• All items must be returned in the original packaging (where possible).
