Product Description

When horses work hard, or during hot weather, they regulate their body temperature by sweating. Sweating not only loses fluid as it evaporates, but also essential body salts, particularly sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Failure to replace these body salts (known as electrolytes) can result in fatigue, and in extreme cases, damage to muscle, bone and cartilage tissue. Electro Salts is a concentrated combination of the essential plasma salts in combination with dextrose to aid efficient absorption of the salts. Electro Salts should be fed following exertion, after heavy sweating or during periods of very hot weather. Electro Salts can be given easily in the feed, or dissolved in water. Always ensure a supply of clean fresh water is readily available.

We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.

  • All returns costs are the responsibility of the customers, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • You will be refunded once the items have arrived at BATA Ltd.
  • All items must be returned in the original packaging (where possible).
  • Please ensure all items are carefully packed to prevent any damages in transit.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked service and obtaining proof of postage when returning any items. We are unable to hold responsibility for any lost or damaged parcels.
