The average load should not be lowerthan 30% or higher than 80% of the rated output of the generator. Continuous use shouldnot exceed 5 hours and annual operation should not exceed 500hours to be within the sanctioned parameters.Emergency / Standby DutyEmergency duty rating is applicable for supplying power for theduration of a utility power outage. No overload capability is available.Average load should not be lower than 30% or higher than 80% of the rated output of the generator. Annual operation should not exceed 500 hours to bewithin the sanctioned parameters. Non AVR alternators have a large fluctuation in voltage and can damage sensitive electronic equipment. If you require a portable generator to replicate the mains supply, it is recommended that a pure sine wave inverter generator is used. Optional ATS PackageFor added convenience, this diesel generator can be configured to work with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), or a simpler manual changeover switch (MTS / MCS). The automatic transfer set up will detect a loss of power from the mains, turn the generator on, and then turn it off again when power from the mains returns. This makes backing up your home or business completely automatic. However, the more cost effective solution is to set this generator up with a manual changeover switch. In the event of a power cut, simply turn the generator on using the key or a '2 wire start', and once up to speed, simply turn the manual changeover switch to begin powering your home/the load via the generator. When the power returns, turn the manual changeover switch back to mains power, and turn the generator off. Please be aware that you MUST check the condition of your product(s) IMMEDIATELY upon delivery. If an item is delivered damaged you must notify us within 24 hours. We cannot consider claims for transit damage beyond 48 hours following delivery.

We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.
