Product Description

The Hyundai DHY9KSEm is a single phase diesel generator with a maximum output of 9kW. Designed for standby use for your home or business, the DHY9KSEm is powered by an 11hp HY380 diesel engine and is equipped an AVR alternator to produce clean energy. This means that any sensitive electronic equipment, such as televisions, PCs and laptops, can safely be powered by the DHY9KSEm. The DHY9KSEm can be started manually by using the key, or connected to an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system. An ATS system will automatically detect a loss of power from the mains, turn your DHY9KSEm on automatically, and then turn it off again when power returns from the mains. Housed in a weather-proof silenced canopy, the DHY9KSEm produces only 65dB @ 7 metres which makes it a quiet standby generator which wont interrupt you at home or work. The DHY9KSEm benefits from being an economical diesel generator, capable of running on red diesel which is significantly cheaper than road diesel and is safer to store than petrol. Running at 1500rpm, the engine is stressed less than in 3000rpm generators and this helps extend the lifespan of the machine if properly serviced. This is because we have assumed the appliances you are going to power have a load factor/power factor of 0.8 - therefore the 'assumed' kVA rating of the load would be higher. This is industry standard and it is usually best to scope the right unit based on the kW. We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.
