Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs provides a low calorie feed for good doers, overweight and obese horses.

• Our lowest calorie feed providing just 5MJ/kg of Digestible Energy
• Soft, tasty meadow grasses blended with high-quality oat straw to offer a low-calorie feed which does not compromise on chew time
• Contains pea hull fibre a great source of highly digestible fibre. A range of fibre types is beneficial for digestive health and helps to support a healthy microbiota
• Enhanced with the tasty herbs cinnamon and thyme to tempt fussy horses and ponies
• The inclusion of postbiotics supports the gut microbiota for general health and wellbeing
• A very light dressing of linseed and rapeseed oil is added to promote coat shine
• Naturally low in sugar 3% and starch 0.5%
• Free from molasses, alfalfa, cereals and preservatives and binders.

Feeding Guidelines

• Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs is a straight feed and so can be used in the bucket feed to slow consumption of balancers, mixes and cubes which is beneficial for digestive health. Any level can be fed but between 500g to 1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day is a practical range when added to the bucket feed.
• If using as a forage replacer – feed the same weight of Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs as the forage you are replacing. Feeding 1.5kgs per 100kgs bodyweight will provide 1.5% of the horse’s bodyweight as forage per day on an as fed basis.
• One large Stubbs scoop = approximately 250g

We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 4-5 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products. Please note, heavier/larger products may also be subject to delivery surcharges as a result of their weight/size.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your recent purchases, however, if you’d like to return an online order, we are happy to offer a full refund on all products bought within 28 days of receipt, providing the goods have not been used or damaged. All goods returned will only be accepted if they are returned in their original packaging, with labels attached and in a clean and dry condition. Please note there are some items which cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless faulty) due to being perishable or for health and safety or hygiene reasons. This includes animal feed, animal health products and protective clothing. Please contact us if you are unsure.

• You can return any items bought online within 28 days of receipt.
• Please note, PML products are non returnable. 
• All returns costs are the responsibility of the customers, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
• Unless the item(s) are faulty or incorrect, a full refund does not include the initial postage charge.
• You will be refunded once the items have arrived at BATA Ltd.
• All items must be returned in the original packaging (where possible).
• Please ensure all items are carefully packed to prevent any damages in transit.
